Sponsored by Amerant Bank, in partnership with Zoo Miami, Zoo Miami Foundation and the North American Nature Photography Association, the ZoolensSM Photography Project is a student photography competition open to all middle school students attending a public or private school in Miami-Dade County during the time of the contest.

Started in 2010, the ZoolensSM Photography Project was designed to foster awareness of wildlife among students through the art of photography. The project has since garnered the participation of hundreds of students and in 2012, was opened up to all middle school students. ZoolensSM provides a wonderful opportunity for students to express their creativity while strengthening their education.
